KPMG Caribbean Hotel and Condo Benchmarking Survey

On behalf of the KPMG member firms in the Caribbean, we are pleased to introduce our inaugural Caribbean Hotel and Condominium Benchmarking Survey.

The survey analyzes 2006 and 2007 financial and operating statistics for hotel and condominium properties across the Caribbean. Key findings are:

2007 financial performance for hotels and condominiums was mixed when compared to 2006 with 2008 bringing additional challenges

Though slowing, the development pipeline remains active

Significant room capacity is being added in the non-English speaking Caribbean

2008 year to date tourist arrivals have increased in certain major markets when compared with 2007 figures
